Project Overview
Venture AI is a platform designed to help startup founders track key metrics and prepare for fundraising. The team needed a UI and marketing site that could simplify dense analytics and feel intuitive for non-technical users. With no legacy design in place, the project was an opportunity to shape the full experience and build a foundation that could grow with the product. Challenge
Startup founders needed insight into their growth data but didn’t have the time—or background—to learn a complex dashboard. The product had to make data feel approachable without oversimplifying it. Since the platform was new, the visual system also needed to scale quickly as features rolled out.
Solution
Designed a focused, lightweight interface using principles of progressive disclosure to keep things simple without sacrificing depth. Elements like tooltips, iconography, and motion helped guide users through the platform. The marketing site used clear copy and purposeful layout to explain value and support onboarding.
Result
The dashboard saw higher engagement and improved task completion rates in early user testing. The design system allowed for quick iteration as new features launched, and the marketing site helped the team better position the product with both investors and early customers.
